University of Zürich and Freie Universität Berlin are planning their annual joint workshop, discussing dissertation chapters, publication drafts, as well as early-stage projects, to be held between May 30 and June 1, in Berlin.

The workshop is designed to give doctoral candidates from Berlin and Zürich the opportunity to discuss a dissertation chapter draft with experienced scholars and fellow PhD researchers. The Call for Papers has been circulated and papers will be due in April 2024.

The organizers also invite experts in Academic Publishing who will share information and experiences as editors and publishers on how and where to publish papers. This session is online and open to the public.
